Nothing says festive quite like a beautiful centerpiece—especially when it’s easy to assemble and full of classic Americana charm.
This year, I put together a simple 4th of July flower arrangement that’s perfect for everything from backyard barbecues to brunch with friends. The best part? It takes less than 10 minutes, and the faux florals from Amazon look and feel like real flowers!
🌸 What You’ll Need For This Stunning 4th of July Floral Arrangement:
A low, wide bowl or footed dish (white ceramic works beautifully!)
A few leaves or greenery sprigs for balance (the blue hydrangeas come with greenery attached so it makes this step easy)
💐 Step-by-Step Instructions On How To Make This Patriotic Centerpiece:
Start with your vessel. I love using a shallow bowl because it keeps the arrangement low and elegant. Plus, it doesn’t block conversation at the table!
Add your hydrangeas. I opted for a soft palette of powder blue and crisp white blooms. They’re lush, full, and give that all-American garden feel. For the white hydrangeas I cut them smaller and stuck the ends into floral foam to ensure they stayed in place.
Tuck in greenery. Just a few leaves around the edges add texture and make the arrangement look more realistic and layered.
Finish with flags. Two mini American flags placed upright add the perfect patriotic touch—bold yet tasteful.
✨ Styling Tips:
Pair your arrangement with a blue and white floral dress or table runner for a cohesive, timeless look (yes, like the one I wore in the reel 😉). You can find my favorites linked in my LiketoKnow.it
Use this as a centerpiece on your dining table, picnic setup, or even your entryway.
Want to go the extra mile? Add red strawberries or napkins nearby to complete the red, white, and blue theme without overdoing it.
Why I Love It:
This arrangement feels classic and fresh—not overly “theme-y.” It’s a gentle nod to the holiday with just the right amount of charm. It also transitions easily from day to evening, whether you're serving lemonade or watching fireworks under the stars.
